An outline is a way to organize information. The classic outline form is known as a Harvard Outline. Read the article on Japanese militarism in the 1930s. On a sheet of loose leaf paper, take notes on the reading using the Harvard Outline format. This is the same outline format that I use for our class notes. I have included a sample on the second page of the file to remind you of the proper format. NOTE: This is only a sample to show you the different "levels" of the outline format (Roman Numerals; Numerals; Capital Letters; Lowercase Letters). DO NOT write your outline into the sample. Instead, create your own outline on loose leaf. Due Tuesday.
Complete the planning worksheet in preparation for Tuesday's essay. The worksheet is due in class on Monday.
