Read Industrialists and Reformers: A Decision-Making Model (file attached). Use information from the chart, your notes, and the textbook to write a script for a movie scene where three guests at a dinner party -- one laissez faire capitalist; one Marxist or socialist; and one social reformer (ex. Utopian; Utilitiarian) -- get into an argument about how to solve the problems of the Industrial Revolution. Due Wednesday 11/22. Guidelines: 1) I would greatly prefer that you type and print this assignment. 2) Begin with an introduction that explains what will be happening in the scene. 3) Make sure each character has at least 4 speaking lines. (HONORS = 5 speaking lines) 4) This should be a fun assignment... feel free to be creative! 5) If you are proud of your script, and you think you'd like to have it performed in class, please email it to me at [email protected] (in addition to printing a copy to hand in). This will make it easier for me to print additional copies for your group members in class on Wednesday.
