Why do you think Owen chose to end his poem in this way? 4) Explain what you think is the main difference between the messages of the two poems. 5) Examine the years that the poems were written and the information provided about each poet. For each poem, make an inference about how the time it was written and the experiences of its author may have influenced the messages conveyed. 6) Choose one line from either poem that had the biggest impact on you. Explain your choice.
