Dear AP World Students:
In this post I have attempted to include everything you will need to complete your term project. On the due date, you will turn in the following, in this order: Cover, Position Paper, and Bibliography. Make sure you read the guidelines on your handout thoroughly. The following link provides you with the Project Sheet in case you misplace your printed copy: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B51mxLFJWZndVjhkM05RLWgxYkE Use the following templates for the cover and position paper. After you click the links, when the files appear in Google Drive, you will not be able to edit them. You will need to click 'File' on the left hand side of the screen, and 'Download' to download the Word file to your computer. Then you will open the file, and you will be able to type directly into the document. Remember to save your work on a flash drive or your hard drive when you are finished, in case you need to edit it later. Debates will take place in a randomly chosen order-- this means that you must come to class prepared to debate on each debate day. I expect you to prepare notes for the debate-- if you attempt to read from a copy of your position paper it will negatively affect your grade. Be aware that you will have already handed in your paper by the time you debate. Keep a hard copy of your paper on your flash drive or computer so that you can use it to prepare for your debate. Lastly, I've attached some links to help you with your bibliography. The first one provides a simple explanation of the MLA format for bibliographic information. The second link is for EasyBib.com, which allows you to easily create free MLA-formatted citations directly online. I look forward to reading wonderful term projects and watching well-informed debates! -Mr. S Dear Students:
